Amazon support page
Before you use the Amazon FBA Calculator
Use the Amazon FBA Calculator with the right live listing and only a few meaningful overrides.
The FBA page works best when it starts from a live listing and only asks you to correct the few cost drivers that Amazon cannot infer on its own.
Do not start with a blank cost sheet
The live listing is already enough to establish the first fee direction, dimensional risk, and selling context.
Manual cost entry should come second, not first.
Override landed assumptions only when they are real
Product cost, inbound shipping, and storage duration should be changed only when your actual lane is materially different from the default read.
That keeps the page useful as a decision tool instead of turning it into bookkeeping theater.
